At Geddington School we are proud of our inclusive ethos. Our school is made up of children with a wide range of abilities and they have made good progress.
Mrs Hammond is our SENCO and she closely monitors how all our children with SEN and disabilities are progressing. Our aim is that children with SEN make rapid and sustained progress which is as good, if not better, than their peers. This is achieved through the use of Individual Education Plans where appropriate, regular meetings with teachers and parents, provision of specialist resources, accessing specialist support and targeted interventions that meet a child’s individual needs.
We work to make reasonable adaptations which enable children with SEN and/or disabilities to be fully included in all school activities including after school clubs, trips and school shows/productions.
Full details of our SEND provision can be found in our Inclusion Policy.
